Charity of the Year

Choosing 52 Lives as your school’s charity of the year will change lives!

 ABOUT 52 LIVES

52 Lives is a charity with a simple and yet powerful aim: to spread kindness and change people’s lives. We also run an education programme in schools called the School of Kindness. We aim to inspire children to embrace kindness in their day-to-day lives. Kindness is a quality that can be embraced and taught. By equipping children with the tools they need to make this world a better place, we play our part by teaching them the importance of compassion, empathy, and understanding.

What choose 52 Lives as your school’s Charity of the Year?

By choosing 52 Live as your charity, you will not only be helping us to change lives – you will also be helping children to see the tangible difference they make to people’s lives. So often with charitable fundraising, people don’t get to see the impact they have made. With 52 Lives, we share real stories of people in need of kindness and can show children the difference their donations and kindness make.

Here are just a few examples of what being our Charity of the Year could bring to your school

1. Making a real difference: By choosing 52 Lives, children will be directly helping change the lives people who need it the most. They will be part of something in this world that supports people in need.

 2. Fun and Engaging Opportunities: We offer lots of creative ways for you to get involved beyond fundraising. We can run bespoke Kindness Workshops for the children, teaching them about the science of kindness and the impact it has on their own physical and mental health. We also have monthly Kindness Challenges the children can take part in and tailored opportunities to provide tangible help to people in need (for example, one school filled rucksacks with stationery for us to donate to refugees. Another collected pyjamas and soft toys for us to give to children living in women’s refuges.)

3. Practicing empathy and seeing their impact: Through storytelling, we help children to practise empathy. We also provide regular updates for your school about the difference your support is making, either through videos, live assemblies or updates for your school newsletter.
