World Kindness Day Assembly
Monday, 14th November 2022
Book your school’s place on one of our virtual World Kindness Day assemblies, being held on 14th November.
More than 50,000 primary school children took part in our World Kindness Day assemblies last year. Places are limited, so please register early to avoid missing out.
Choose your assembly time: We will hold three assemblies on the day – at 9am, 11am and 1.30pm (GMT – UK time).
Running time: 30 minutes
Most suitable for: Key Stage 1 and 2
Format: It is a live, virtual assembly held on Zoom Webinar (the children can see Greig, but he cannot see the children and they cannot see each other).
Our World Kindness Day Assembly is held virtually and led by our Director of Kindness, Greig Trout. This year, the assembly coincides with the start of Anti-Bullying Week.
We will cover things such as:
– What do we mean by ‘kindness’?
– Why kindness is important, including the role it plays in creating strong, supportive communities
– Different ways we can show kindness, with an emphasis on ‘reaching out’ which is the theme of Anti-Bullying Week 2022.
– Case studies
– The science of kindness and the impact it has on our physical and mental health
Towards the end of the assembly, the children will be given a kind task to complete in their own time. We will also be giving away prizes to some lucky schools!
Our Kindness Assembly supports many of the aims and objectives of the PSHE curriculum for relationships and health education in primary schools
