KINDNESS CHALLENGE
This month’s Kindness Challenge is inspired by World Environment Day, and how YOU can take action to be kind to the planet. Watch Greig’s video, then write two ways you are already helping the planet and one new action you are going to take.
To enter: Simply download and complete the challenge sheet (or use scrap paper). Then email a photo of your sheet to us (teachers you can just send a selection of entries from your class).
Prizes: Individual children entering can win a £10 book voucher! Teachers sending a selection of entries can win a Kind Book bundle for their class.
Deadline: Friday 26th June.
Kindness in Action
For World Environment Day, we are inviting you to take kind action this month by making a positive difference to our beautiful planet. Whether you add a new plant to your garden, pick up litter (safely), turn off lights as you leave a room – the choice is yours. Any small kind act will make a positive difference, and change starts with you.
(You can write your plan on our Kindness Challenge sheet for the chance to win a kind book bundle for your class).
KIND News
From strangers helping an owl, to a young mountaineer helping his friend, Ned brings you kind news from around the world.
We also LOVE hearing your kind news stories. Download our Kind News activity sheet to tell us your own kind news! Simply email a photo of it and your story could be featured on Kind News.
NEW QUIZ!

SHOW AND TELL
How fantastic is this kindness rock garden, created by the pupils at Hadnall Primary School.
As one of our Kindness Ambassador Schools, Hadnall pledges to actively spread kindness throughout their school and community. They invited every pupil to create their own kindness rock to be displayed for parents and visitors to enjoy.
Such a joyful way to be greeted!
Well done!

This picture book is great for all ages. It goes through ten very achievable ways that you can help our world. A beautifully illustrated and inspiring read…the only problem you will have, is which idea you can try first!

KINDNESS POLL
Self-Kindness tip of the month:
Hugging a tree can boost your health!
When you hug a tree, your body releases what scientists call ‘feel good’ hormones (oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine) and reduces the hormone cortisol, helping you feel less stressed. So, find a tree to hug today and embrace the feel good hormones!
