Self-Kindness Resources
Kindness can grow from the inside out!
When people talk about kindness, they often focus on being kind to other people. But self-kindness is where it all begins. Being kind to ourselves means recognising our own needs, taking care of our wellbeing and treating ourselves with the same compassion we would show a friend. When children learn to value themselves and understand that they deserve kindness too, they are better equipped to navigate challenges, build healthy relationships and show kindness to the people around them. Explore the resources below to help children develop self-kindness and a positive sense of self-worth.
Donna Ashworth Writing Workshop
We’ve have teamed up with our talented patron, best-selling author Donna Ashworth, to bring you a very special Writing Workshop.
This workshop will help children explore how writing can be a powerful tool to express their feelings and emotions.
Hosted by our Director of Kindness Greig Trout and Donna, this workshop encourages children to use their own voices and imaginations in a supportive, creative environment. It includes poetry readings from Donna, discussions, and a guided writing activity. Children will learn that there’s no wrong way to write and that their feelings and words truly matter.
