Back-to-School Kindness Assembly

18th September 2026

Start the new school year with an inspiring assembly that encourages children to think about the kind of year they want to have – and how they can help make it happen.

Designed for primary schools, this uplifting 25-minute virtual assembly will help pupils return to school feeling positive, connected and ready to make a difference.

During the assembly, children will:
– Reflect on what kind of school year they want to create.
– Discover how the small choices they make every day can shape their classroom and school community.
– Learn why stepping outside their comfort zone and taking on challenges helps us grow.
– Be inspired by Krish’s incredible Great British Skip challenge and the stories of kindness he’s discovering across the UK.
– Leave with simple kindness ideas they can put into action from day one.

This assembly ties in with the Great British Skip. Our Captain of Kindness, Krish, is taking on the epic World Record Attempt, skipping 35 marathons in 35 days from one end of the UK to the other. He is raising funds to help us spread kindness, and collecting and sharing kind stories along the way.

We will be crossing live to Krish during the assembly.

School across the country are taking part in their own sponsored skipping challenges in September to support Krish, so this assembly is also a chance to celebrate everyone’s efforts!
