Founded by entrepreneur, Jo Tutchener Sharp, Scamp & Dude is a superpower-infused clothing brand, transforming the world of fashion into a force for good.
Scamp & Dude was created after Jo was separated from her children during a lengthy stay in hospital undergoing life-saving brain surgery, which made Jo feel determined to create a philanthropic business to help those having a really hard time. Originally launching with kidswear and charitable products, Scamp & Dude was led by the slogan ‘a Superhero has my back’, to tell kids that someone is watching over them even when they can’t see you. Each product in the collection features a ‘Superpower Button’, an embroidered lightning bolt to be pressed to activate superpowers when the wearer needs a boost of confidence.
Scamp & Dude create superpower-infused clothing that not only enhances confidence and well-being but also fuels the desire to help others. For every Super Scarf sold, Scamp & Dude donate another to a woman battling cancer and for every Superhero Sleep Buddy sold, they donate another to a bereaved child who has lost a parent.
Over the past seven years, Scamp & Dude has donated over 6500 Superhero Sleep Buddies and over 28,000 Super Scarves to women with cancer and in total has donated over £1.3m worth of product to people going through a difficult time.
