We are incredibly proud to share that Ava, a Year 5 student at Grimoldby Primary School, has been named the national winner of the Kind Pupil Award!

“She doesn’t just talk about kindness – she lives it,” said her school.
Ava’s compassion doesn’t stop at the school gates — at just 7 years old, she cycled 57 miles for charity. And despite personal challenges, she continues to lift others up with her positivity and care.
In Ava’s own words: “You never know what’s happening in someone’s life, so I try to just be kind and let people know that I care.”
The judges were so impressed by everything Ava is doing.
Jaime Thurston, founder of 52 Lives, said: “Ava is a role model for young people everywhere. She practices empathy and proves that kindness really does change lives.”
Congratulations, Ava – your light is shining bright!
