Random Acts of Kindness Week is taking place this month, from the 9th to the 15th February.
To celebrate, we’ve launched a five day Kindness Challenge for children, and there are some amazing prizes to be won.
What’s the challenge?
Each day, children taking part will complete a specific kind activity and then write about how they felt when they did it. Not only will this help to show them the amazing impact kindness has on others, but on themselves too, as kindness improves our physical and mental health – whether we’re giving kindness, receiving it or even just witnessing it.
The winning child will receive a £20 book token, a subscription to The Happy Newspaper and a fantastic Kindness Bench for their school, donated by our amazing sponsors at NBB Recycled Furniture.

What is Random Acts of Kindness Week?
Random Acts of Kindness Week was set up in 1995 by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, to celebrate the small, kind things we do that can make a big difference. For children, it shows that even the smallest kind acts, from playing with someone else at breaktime to planting a tree, can help make the world a much kinder place.
