In the practical part of one of our Kindness Workshops, the children made birthday cards for an elderly lady called Gladys, who lives in a care home in Newark. Thanks to the kindness of so many people, Gladys had a wonderful 101st birthday!
One of the care home workers said the cards filled the whole room.
“Wow! We cannot say thank you enough. As soon as the cards began to arrive, Gladys opened them with a smile on her face, and we displayed them in our living areas – they are absolutely beautiful.”
