The Oxford University Press has announced that the Children’s Word of the Year for 2024 is KINDNESS!
The research, which surveys opinions from more than 6,000 children aged 6-14 across the UK, reveals mental health to be a reason for some children selecting kindness, with teachers also citing a growing awareness among young people of the wider impact of kindness on mental wellbeing.
