The winners and runners up of our Kind Poetry Competition had the chance this week to meet the queen of poetry herself – Donna Ashworth!
We hosted a Zoom call with Donna and the Year 5 class at Evendons Primary School. The children had the chance to hear poetry readings from Donna, ask lots of interesting questions, and share their kind poems with her.
The Kind Poetry Competition was run in collaboration with Donna, (who is our patron!) and we received so many incredible entries. You can read the winning entry, by Arielle, below.
