52 Lives and School of Kindness founder, Jaime Thurston, has today been named in the King’s Birthday Honours list for services to charity.

She will receive a British Empire Medal (BEM).

Jaime said: “What we all do here at 52 Lives every week is achieved by all of us, not by one person, but it feels wonderful for work like ours to be recognised and celebrated in this way – which will hopefully raise awareness and bring even more supporters. Thank you all so much for making it happen.”
