Thank you to all the teachers and children who took part in our live Children’s Mental Health Week assembly on Monday. More than 34,000 children watched live and a further 42,000 will be watching on catch-up!
The comments we had from children after the assembly were wonderful – one girl in year 2 told her teacher ‘we really needed that,’ perfectly summing up why we do what we do.
The assembly was run by Greig featured wisdom from Dr David Hamilton and concluded with an inspirational poem read by best-selling author and poet, Donna Ashworth . We also had a special activity sheet designed by illustrator and author Stacie Swift for the children to use after the assembly. We’re so grateful to have the support of such incredible people.
